Clinic progress: United Effort!

August 27, 2013: Students of William Carey College of Osteopathic Medicine, Tulane School of Medicine, LSU School of Medicine, and Tulane School of Public Health are uniting efforts to fundraise to finish the clinic in Haiti. The goal is raise $38,000 dollars to finish the clinic and cover the one year of medication costs.

Latrines Coming to Jacsonville

Last March, Sante Total conducted a site assessment of the sanitation infrastructure within Jacsonville. Currently, 58 households lack access to latrines or other means to enclose defecation and contain harmful bacteria, such as E. coli. Another 44 household are using latrines that are inadequate by the World Health Organization (WHO) and also are unsafe to use. […]

Gabriel Thelus visits Pittsburgh

Gabriel Thelus, a native of Jacsonville (formerly Matabonite) Haiti, and long-time community leader, will visit Pittsburgh for the first time from September 28 to October 4, 2012.
